Services

Our long-term care programs cater to the unique needs of older adults and elderly, offering holistic geriatric care and support.

NURSING

Our Nursing Care team deliver quality care to our residents, who face challenges associated with aging and chronic illnesses. With over 98% of our residents requiring assistance with daily living activities due to being wheelchair-bound or bed-bound, our team addresses their complex clinical needs.

REHAB

Rehabilitation is a vital component of long-term care at SAS. Our therapy programs, including physiotherapy and occupational therapy, aim to restore or enhance functional abilities in our elderly residents, particularly those with disabling impairments and/or frailty. By prioritizing function and well-being over disease management, our rehabilitation programs empower residents to maintain functional independence and improve their overall quality of life.

MEDICAL SOCIAL SERVICES

Our Medical Social Workers together with a team of Resident Care Assistants (RCA) plays a vital role in providing residents and their families with essential psychosocial support to cope with chronic illnesses. They offer patient education, counseling and guidance to help residents come to terms with their medical condition, infirmity, and life situation. Additionally, they facilitate sensitive conversations about care options and support families in understanding and respecting each individual’s wishes regarding life-sustaining treatments.

VOLUNTEER ENGAGEMENT

Our Corporate and Community Relations (CCR) team foster connections between our residents and the community through tailored volunteer initiatives. These programs address the social and emotional needs of our residents, featuring activities such as befriending, festive and birthday celebrations, and resident outings. Volunteers have been invaluable partners in our caregiving efforts, providing residents with attention, support, and companionship, which greatly enrich their lives.
